Position Overview

We are looking for a full-time, versatile, and enthusiastic Logistics Administrator. The successful candidate will have the professional capability to multi-task and fulfil a broad range of tasks to facilitate day-to-day administrative services, including supporting the wider team. Training will be given where required.

Main Responsibilities

• Accurately enter data and utilise the Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI) system to assist in the delivery of logistics and function support.
• Complete all documentation to a high degree of accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Liaise with customers in an effective and friendly manner.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as required; this could include cover for other Mitie team members and other logistics tasks.
• Actively promote a safe working culture and adhere to the Health and Safety procedures, processes, and the law.

A reliable, trustworthy, competent, and physically fit person with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Confident, self-motivated, and able to use own initiative, highly responsive to company and customer requirements. Pro-active and consistent with the ability to adapt quickly to the different needs of the business and:

• Capability to multi-task when and where needed, as required by the business
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Flexible approach to accommodate changing requirements and priorities
• Good customer facing skills and the ability to develop close working relationships
• Basic IT literacy in MS applications.

 Additional Information

MOD security clearance and DBS Standard required. To meet national security vetting requirements, you will normally need to have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years to gain a Counter Terrorist Check, 5 years for Security Clearance prior to the date of application.

Proof of right to work in UK essential.

The Contract operates an output during the service hours of 0730 and 1600 Mon to Fri. 

Required to wear approved company work wear.
