  • Conduct inspections, quality audits, risk assessments and project handovers while promoting a strong health and safety culture and driving continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

  • Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, CDM regulations and safe systems of work.
  • PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP or equivalent project management qualification is desirable, along with experience within educational environments, FM or public sector contracts.

What's in it for you?

  • Opportunity to lead varied and meaningful projects across a large educational estate, helping to improve facilities for schools and local communities.
  • Work within a supportive and collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • Exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects including refurbishments, mechanical and electrical improvements, sustainability initiatives and statutory compliance works.
  • Be part of an organisation committed to safety, quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package, together with the opportunity to make a tangible impact across the Cornwall Schools contract.

Mitie is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all employees to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
