Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor
Rate of Pay: £14.45 per hour
Position Type: Permanent
Type of Employment: Part Time
Hours: 15 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (6:00pm-9:00pm)
Location: Ernst & Young, 1 Colmore Square, Birmingham, West Midlands, England, B4 6HQ

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day cleaning operation, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained while supporting and developing the cleaning team.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervising and supporting cleaning operatives on site.
Ensuring cleaning tasks are completed to the required Mitie and client standards.
Carrying out regular site audits and quality checks.
Managing staff attendance, holidays, and absence reporting.
Delivering training, toolbox talks, and on-site coaching where required.
Monitoring cleaning supplies and arranging stock orders.
Ensuring all health and safety procedures, COSHH requirements, and company policies are followed.
Maintaining positive relationships with clients and responding to any service issues promptly.
Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new starters.
Completing administrative duties such as timesheets, audits, and compliance records.

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous supervisory experience within the cleaning industry.
Be organised, reliable, and able to lead a team effectively.
Have good communication and customer service skills.
Be capable of working independently and managing priorities.
Have a good understanding of health and safety and COSHH regulations.
Be confident using mobile devices and company systems to complete audits and paperwork.

IIn order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
