ROLE: Mobile Water Treatment Service Engineer

LOCATION:  Coventry

We're looking for a Mobile Water Treatment Service Engineer who will deliver expert servicing, commissioning, and maintenance of water treatment equipment for commercial and industrial clients.

Role Responsibilities

• Service and commission a wide range of water treatment equipment including ClO₂, Cl₂, Genox dosing plants, water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and boiler/cooling tower dosing units.
• Travel to client sites to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and provide technical support, ensuring smooth system operation.
• Operate, monitor, and adjust water treatment systems to meet contractual requirements for volume, quality, and performance.
• Troubleshoot system issues in coordination with line managers and technical support teams.
• Perform preventative maintenance, manage consumables, and ensure the ongoing reliability of all equipment.
• Maintain strong customer relationships with plant operatives, field service engineers, and client stakeholders.
• Keep accurate daily records, including test results, maintenance logs, and activity reports.
• Respond quickly to equipment failures, leaks, and urgent water‑related issues to minimise disruption.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant water supply, health & safety, and regulatory standards.
• Travel flexibly, with potential visits to sites across the UK and internationally.
• Support ad‑hoc duties within the MES Engineering team as required.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• Experience servicing or maintaining water treatment systems or similar technical equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical processes related to water treatment (e.g., dosing, RO, softeners, chemical systems).
• Ability to interpret system performance data, diagnose issues, and implement technical solutions.
