In this critical role, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of training programmes to ensure our Emergency Response teams (Security/Fire & Medical) are prepared to act efficiently and safely in emergency situations. You will assess training needs design tailored programmes and support operational readiness. Working closely with key stakeholders and external emergency services, you will ensure all emergency preparedness training is aligned with current legislative requirements, internal policies, and sector best practice. Play a key role in the design and implementation of regulatory observed exercises.
Main Duties
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programmes related to emergency response and incident management.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions for security staff and wider teams, ensuring are trained to respond in line with site procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and scenario planning to inform training needs and response procedures.
- Maintain accurate training records and report regularly on training completion, compliance, and incident preparedness.
- Ensure personnel are trained and are competent to carry out their site duties
- Training staff in line with current SIA standards
What we are looking for

We're looking for someone who brings:
- Proven experience in fire safety, medical, emergency planning, security operations, in a training or leadership capacity.
- A proven record of developing people.
- Recognised qualifications in fire safety, security, emergency response and training delivery (e.g. NEBOSH Fire Safety, Train the Trainer, PTLLS/CTLLS/Level 3 Award in Education and Training).
- Strong knowledge of current UK legislation and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- A proactive and confident approach to delivering high-impact training and managing safety-critical projects.
- Proficient in using computer programmes such as MS Word and excel and acknowledge of training platforms, such as PDRpro or similar
- Ability to produce detailed reports and data for client meetings.
