Job objectives and responsibilities

· Working independantly or in a team, assisting the Small Works Team for all Plumbing Requirements.

· Deliver tasks to a professional standard, right first time

· Follow and comply with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, at all times including Regultions, Guidance and ACOP's

· Attend Tool box talks, stop work if unsafe or unsure

Main duties

· Working towards or willing to participate in a Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating (6189-11)

· Previous plumbing and mechanical experience desireable.

· Carry out installation and maintenance tasks on equipment or systems following manufacturers/task instructions, drawings and diagrams

· Understand procedures complying to hot and cold water services, follow H&S Policy, fill out paperwork, learning installation and maintenance practices

· Use and understand test equipment, using digital equipment and tools, understand limitations

· Ensure that high standards of housekeeping are maintained during and after work

· Be apart of the Small Works Team carrying out the additional works programme and WAP13's.

· Self-motivated, well organised with a desire to learn and communicate

· Ability to understand and follow instructions, confident to speak up as required if in doubt

· Possess the ability to understand drawings and procedures

· Treat all with respect on gender, race or religion

· Be a role model of reliability, behaviour and appearance
