Job Overview
To manage and develop the IFM contract for the Civil Nuclear Police Authority Firearm training and other facilities.
To ensure 100% compliance to all facilities management works, whilst ensuring all KPI's meet and exceed the customers' expectations.
To manage and ensure delivery of projects & minor works
To, strategically assist in the generation of new business & organic growth of this contract as well as working towards the overall goals of the company and MITIE Group.
To manage the delegated authority for the running of the contract, whilst ensuring succession planning through the recruitment, training & developing of the team.
To be the single point of daily contact for our client and 3rd party stakeholders.
To ensure the Company Health & Safety policy is adhered to and to direct and manage the contracts in line with the H&S Policy and requirements of the management system, including monitoring and review
To ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, and be instrumental in leading and implementing the procedures and instructions with attention to the areas of responsibility indicated in the document.
Main Duties
To take responsibility for managing contracts in line with the H&S Policy and requirements of the management system, including monitoring and review
To actively manage the client relationship and contract
To implement business strategic decisions as outlined by the Sector Director and also suggest areas for improvements.
To assist the processes of managing the P&L account including debt and work in progress effectively
To ensure that the delegated authority given for specific contracts is discharged appropriately in line with the Quality Management System Procedures
To ensure recruitment, induction, employment, appraisal, training and work allocation of staff as well as making recommendations regarding promotion, remuneration and training requirements are made in accordance with company rules, procedures and instructions, with the support and advice from the HR Business Partner
To ensure a professional working relationship of all employees, agency workers and subcontractors is in line with legislation and best practice.
If required to liaise with broader sector team providing guidance opportunities and assistance with pricing strategy and bid submission
To represent MITIE in all interactions with the client
To represent MITIE at key client review meetings
To co-operate with other MITIE disciplines for the provisions of other scopes where required
To liaise with other company and Group staff to maximise all business opportunities
To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time
To understand and comply with policies and procedures
To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required
To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
What we are looking for
Project management qualification and or experience
IOSHH Managing Safely
Experience of Risk assessment/method statement preparation/management
Induction / appraisal skills

Financial Awareness & previous experience of holding P&L responsibility at contract level
