Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Team leader to join our team at the UKs market leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be supporting them in ensuring your team deliver the exceptional every day.
You will be working in partnership with Canal & River Trust is the UK's largest canal charity, who care for a 2,000-mile network of stunning canals and navigable rivers.

The 250-year-old waterways in our care – the canals, embankments, culverts and reservoirs as well as the bridges, locks and towpaths – and their vital ecosystems are threatened by the growing impact of climate change and more extreme weather. You will be responsible for leading a team on the Canal and River Trust contract, ensuring the highest level of service to the client. This includes effectively planning maintenance work across the contract, optimizing the use of labor, materials, and equipment. You will lead by example in implementing a positive health and safety culture and providing daily productivity reports. There is also the potential for a productivity incentive program. We are looking for someone with a passion for working outdoors, who is prepared to work in an agile and flexible environment. A good understanding of smartphone technology and the ability to interpret GIS data is essential, along with grounds maintenance experience and a full driving license.
