Job Overview

  • Site Supervisor – Lloyds Banking Group Account - UK Wide

    We are seeking a highly competent and SMSTS/SSSTS -trained Site Supervisor to oversee site operations and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained, predominately for the Projects team Fabric and Fire door programmes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site supervision, health and safety compliance, and quality assurance processes, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to snagging and handover procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Carry out site surveys and assist in scoping/quoting of works
    • Review of Mitie and Sub-contractor risk assessments, ensuring they are, concise, task specific and produced in a timely manner.
    • Setting sub-contractors to work and supervising the site operations.
    • Oversee daily site activities ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations (SMSTS).
    • Coordinate of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Monitor progress against project timelines and report deviations to management.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and toolbox talks.
    • Ensuring Health, Safety, Quality and environmental standards are being met on site
    • Attend client planning meetings where required. Submit sub-contractors' schedules & manage works to the submitted schedule.
    • Ensure compliance with the MITIE Maintenance Quality Management System as it applies to this position.
    • Lead snagging inspections and ensure all defects are identified and rectified promptly.
    • Prepare and manage quality assurance documentation, including handover packs and O&M manuals.
    • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with completed works.
    • Conduct final quality checks and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

    Knowledge/Skills/Experience

    • The individual needs to have a building fabric/construction background, holding a valid CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS, or equivalent.
    • Must have up to date knowledge of current industry standards including CDM
    • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and post-completion procedures.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • CSCS card (preferred).
    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in reporting and documentation.
