Main Purpose of Role: |
To carry out site management on HV connections projects. To manage resources on site to ensure quality of work is maintained and that technically compliant schemes are constructed safely.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: |
· To perform all duties in line with the Company's HSQE Policies and Procedures · To proactively manage and develop the performance of direct reports and team members. · Planning and organisation of all works in line with detailed programme · In liaison with the Construction Manager / Project Manager, the postholder is directly responsible, on a day-to-day basis, for the safety, quality and technical standard of work performed by all competent staff under his supervision · Delivering all phases of construction work within budget and on time · Encourage a positive safety attitude and set the safety and environmental standards on site for all operations and activities. · Carry out visual quality check of materials, tools and plant, supplied direct to site, and report any non-conforming products/defects to the Project Manager. · Carry out site inductions as required. · Undertake site audits and joint audits in line with agreed project audit plan · Conduct risk assessments / method statements, and complete associated review documentation. · Carry out toolbox talks as required. · Ensure company processes / procedures are implemented and followed on site · Carry out safety, quality and environmental site audits of the works and conduct daily briefings · Ensure the site is kept tidy and clear of obstructions · Assist the Construction Manager and Project Manager to inspect completed works · Responsible for the environment you work in, in accordance with the environmental policy and strategies of this company. · Delivery of excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, to include clients |
Job Context / Key Challenges: |
The Site Manager is responsible for all activities and resources on site at all times. The postholder will lead a team in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
