Job Title : Site Cleaning Manager
Location: Ellistown, Coalville
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday; flexible start/ finish times to business needs
Hours: 40 hrs a week
Contract: Permanent position

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Site Cleaning Manager to oversee the Operational delivery of janitorial services at the site, building excellent relationships with the client and your team whilst maintaining a high-quality service output.
- An understanding of cleaning, waste and forklift truck activities.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of site in terms of layout, fit-out, working hours and operating times in order to create and adapt adequate cleaning schedules.
- Manage all staff on-site, ensuring a consistent delivery of hours, in-line with the site budget
- Administer payroll for hourly paid staff both direct employees and agency in-line with company procedures and targets
- Create and promote a positive safety culture on-site where hazards are proactively recorded and a lessons learnt approach taken to limit accidents and incidents.
- Have a thorough understanding of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Control of Substances Hazardous to health.
- Achieve excellent cleaning standards, exceeding client expectations, evidenced through the weekly cleaning standards audit undertaken with the client. Acting upon any potential failings and opportunities for improvement in a timely manner
- Drive continuous improvements by seeking innovations, identifying efficiencies and negotiating with customers, staff and suppliers
- Maintain adequate stock levels and place orders as required and within the site budget
- Ensure all equipment is well clean, well-maintained and safe, as well as It being operated in-line with the requirements of site
Health and Safety responsibilities
- Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system
What are we looking for?
- Experience working in a Cleaning/ Healthcare setting
- Experience in Management, ideally of large teams
- Somone adaptable, motivated and organised with excellent timekeeping
- An engaging and enthusiastic personality with staff, clients and stakeholders
- Commercial awareness with experience of holding budgetary control
- IOSH Managing Safety or comparable qualification - essential, or willingness to complete within first month of employment
- Must be able to complete a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check
