Job Title: Service - Co - Ordinator
Rate of pay: £15.90 per hour
Hours: 14 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Saturday - Sunday, 12:00 - 20:00
Contract: Permanent
Type of Employment: Part Time
Location: St George's University of London Hospital, Blackshaw Road, Tooting, London, Greater London, England, SW17 0QT

Job objectives and responsibilities

·           Responsible for achieving and maintaining the client specification as set in contractual requirements

·           Daily liaison with Line Manager

·           Daily monitoring of high profile areas to ensure readiness at start of business

·           Complete check sheets and issue to staff as appropriate ensuring tasks are completed

·           Good communication with all staff to promote a one team attitude

·           Completion of own daily schedule as set

·           Report any maintenance issues to line manager

·           Report any complaints in a professional and timely manner

·           Compliance with client and Mitie Health and Safety

·           Report accidents and near miss as per company and client procedures to line manager

·           Maintain and keep up to date Mitie Site pack documentation

·           Staff training and record keeping

 

Main duties

·           Daily standard monitoring of all of site

·           Check sheet of monthly cleaning tasks to ensure full completion

·           Checking and maintaining all areas to support line manager.

·           Carry out cleaning monthly tasks in line with customers requirements

·           Cleaning duties as job requires

·           Check all stock levels and report to line manager for ordering.

·           Training for staff on areas

·           Training for staff on site specific jobs

·           Refresher training where required or requested by line manager

·            Carry out other reasonable requests from customer and/or line manager

 

Person Specification

·           Leadership experience preferred although training will be given

·           Industrial Cleaning experience preferred

·           Ability to communicate at all levels

·           Ability to work on own and in team

·           Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative

·           Flexibility essential in workload and possibly hours if needed

·           Work both pro-actively and re-actively

·           Undertake variety of tasks that are within this role, both internal and external

·           Basic knowledge & understanding of health and safety policies

·           Implementation of H&S policies and procedures

·           Basic IT Skills

·           Needs to represent Mitie values on site by being presentable, uniformed, affable and helpful at all times

·            Willing to go the extra mile

Health and Safety responsibilities

·         Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;

·         Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;

·         Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;

·         Report any issues or training needs to your  Line manager and /or  via your divisional incident reporting system;
