ob Title: Security Shift Manager (SSM).
Site: Bullring and Grand Central.
Salary: £15.67 p/h
Hours: 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts
Permanent position, Immediate start once vetted
Must hold a Current Door Supervisor Licence, CCTV Licence would be desirable but not essential.
2 years supervisory experience in a similar environment or role would be desirable but not essential.
Must have good communication skills.
Basic IT knowledge, Microsoft Excel, Outlook etc.
Job Purpose
The protection of life, property and premises.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities.
Manage the day to day Front of House operations, Highlighting any issues to the senior management as and when necessary.
Promote and drive top level standards.
Take ownership for the safety of Visitors, Tenants, Contractors and Fellow employees.
Manage Customer comments, complaints and questions, professionally and in a timely manner.
Conduct daily briefs to all oncoming staff.
Participate in weekly Management meetings
Undertake regular patrols of the entire site, assisting customers as needed.
Attend to any incident that may occur in order to manage the incident from ground level and escalate if necessary in line with company policy.
Deter and prevent any wrong doing.
Operate within h confines of the companies policies and procedures.
Operate within the confines of the policies and procedures set out by the SIA
Have a working knowledge of the Health and Safety at work act 1974
Take ownership of the management of the Security Team, including recruitment and discipline of staff as and when required.
Work with and support the on and off site Management Teams.
Assist with the management of any onsite events.
Have a basic understanding of the control room, its functions and its critical systems
