Job Overview
Our objective is to safeguard our client's property, personnel, and assets by delivering security services in accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent amendments. We aim to achieve results that meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements for the client through full responsibility and accountability, thereby ensuring contract retention. Continuous self-development through additional training is essential.
Main Duties
# Operations
- Ensure adherence to all aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in compliance with UK law and guidance bodies.
- Complete all tasks and duties on site as specified within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
- Regularly review the published Assignment Instructions to remain informed of any updates and suggest enhancements to improve service levels.
- Maintain compliance with industry and statutory legislation (a front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision is required), which must be worn at all times while performing duties. The client also requires a CCTV PSS SIA Licence, along with additional contractual coursework.
- Adhere to legal obligations and safety requirements of the role.
- Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without challenging authority unnecessarily.
- Work systematically, methodically, and orderly.

- Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
- Engage in additional training for continuous self-development as directed by the Security Account Manager.
- Utilize technology to achieve key work objectives and enhance job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.
# Security and Health & Safety
- Promptly report any health & safety hazards or potential hazards on site.
- Remain vigilant to any threats or changes within the work environment and take appropriate actions to mitigate disruption, loss, or damage.
- Use common sense and initiative by involving others immediately if a situation becomes threatening.
- Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations and with challenging customers.
- Document accurate and detailed notebook entries promptly after any incident, to be utilized in the Incident Report process.
- Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the Client.
- Ensure check calls are conducted at the designated time slots as outlined in the Assignment Instructions (AI's).
- Report all incidents to emergency services and the Communication Centre.
What we are looking for

- Previous security experience
- SIA License
- CCTV License desirable
- SC Clearance desirable
