We're looking for a School Caretaker / Janitor at our GLENEARN COMMUNITY CAMPUS, who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.  

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 hrs p/w 
Pay: £12.81
Location: North Inch Community Campus

Role Responsibilities:

• Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
• Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.
• Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
• Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
• Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.

What we're looking for:

• Previous caretaking experience (preferred but not essential).
• Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined.
• Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality, with willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
