Mitie is seeking a reliable and dedicated Relief Response Security Officer to join our team on an exciting new contract for the company with Network Rail. The Relief Response Security Officer will be responsible for providing security services on an as-needed basis. This would be a guaranteed 8 hours per week with the option of more available. We would need the successful candidate to be available to work all days and hours.

Key Responsibilities:
-    Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the station
-    Monitor surveillance equipment and respond to any suspicious activity
-    To work with the team on site and assist in any confrontational matters. 
-    To provide information if requested by customers. 
-    To ensure that the body worn cameras are handled correctly and handed in at the end of each shift. 
-    To respond to emergency situations as directed by the client.
-    To provide statements in the event of an incident. These may be required to be submitted to the British Transport Police as well.
-    Putting the safety of the public first
-    Enforce access control procedures and verify the credentials of individuals entering the premises
-    Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner
-    To assist in the removal of people who are not allowed on the client's premises.
-    Complete detailed reports documenting any incidents or unusual activities
-    Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors on site
-    To understand and comply with Health & Safety Work Legislation on site.
-    To undertake any other reasonable request that is appropriate to this role by senior staff or station management.

Qualifications:
-    Valid in date SIA Door Supervisor Licence 
-    Previous experience in security or a related field preferred
-    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-    Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
-    Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
