Main Duties
Daily responsibilities will include:
Providing first response.
To complete PPM tasks and activities in accordance with contracted service level agreements.
To complete reactive works in accordance with contracted service level agreements.
To identify requirements for additional works where the completion of planned and reactive works cannot be completed first time.
To complete electronic and hard copy documentation to ensure that works completed can be evidenced through continuous audit and review.
To ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
To ensure that the company values are observed throughout, maintaining high levels conduct, quality, sustainability, value for money and efficiency.
To be available for overtime and call out as and when business demands require.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced plumber comfortable working in industrial/ commercial environments. You should be capable of working to the highest level of service for the client. You will also be required to work from tasks on a PDA provided and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
Candidates must have a full and valid UK driving licence and be willing to participate in an on-call rota.
You will have knowledge of health and safety, permit to work procedures and safe systems of working, have good verbal and written communications skills and be physically able to carryout the duties mentioned in the description.
The ideal candidate would have a background within Maintenance / Facilities Management environment or similar and be to either C&G Level 2/3 / NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent / technical diploma.
C&G/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in relevant Mechanical or Plumbing services
Experience of providing engineering and maintenance services within the building services industry
Competency in basic IT and computer skills
Holder of full driving licence (where applicable)
Ability to work well under pressure and during unsociable hours
Good verbal and written communication skills
