Location: Based in our TSOC Office (Time to suit the needs of the business we anticipate that this will be full time whilst the department is being established and then potentially can lead to more flexible working arrangements at management discretion to suit the dynamic needs of the business).
Data Driven Performance, Trend Analysis and Creating Solutions to Improve: Create reports and trend analysis that will assist the regional operations Management team to deliver the highest standards of operational performance and efficiency. You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on performance indicators, acting with the management team to ensure Work In Progress, aged and current, is managed effectively to minimise cost and operational risk. Identifying trends and creating solutions with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Influencing, Negotiating, Customer Contact and Interaction: The role will include liaison and development of close working relationship with internal Mitie Service lines and specialist suppliers ensuring contractual KPI's/SLA's are achieved. Day to day points of contact will be the Regional Engineering Manager, Engineering supervisory team, specialist service providers, internal Mitie service providers, TSOC Management Team and Regional Facilities Managers
Main Duties
-
- Provide the Regional Operational Team with daily, weekly and monthly planned maintenance performance reports. Highlight operational risks impacting the timely delivery of monthly statutory, mandatory and routine planned maintenance tasks.
- Provide the Regional Operational Team with daily, weekly and monthly reactive maintenance performance reports. Highlight operational risks impacting the timely delivery of unplanned reactive maintenance tasks.
- Liaise with internal and external suppliers, expediting aged and current Work in Progress/ debt minimising risk, cost and escalations. Liaise with Mitie scheduling management teams to ensure self-delivery performance is maximised.
- Taking ownership of High Priority Work Orders (Priority 1 and 2), the position holder will be expected to manage and expedite work orders in line with contractual SLA's/KPI's
- Assisting service delivery teams across the region to achieve client Key Performance Indicators, PPM, Reactive and Quoted Works
- Support the Data Insight team in the production of standardised Management Information as required.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of internal and external service delivery teams.
- Purchase order Management within the regional Area to support the engineering team and ensure PO'S are issued in a timely manner, minimising operational impact.
- Manage the Change Request (CR) process to ensure requests are processed in a timely manner and in line with SLA s including Tech room access requests.
- Liaise with the DMO team on upcoming projects to support the amendments to estate and liaise with Asset manager to amend CAFM system.
- Acting as the operational point of contact for a nominated specialist supplier list. The post holder will be expected to build relationships with suppliers through regular performance meetings. The post holder will as the single point of contact for issue resolution and performance management.
What we are looking for
- Industry recognised qualification or experience in relevant field (Business Administration, Engineering or Quality Management etc)
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role preferably in a complex, dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of engineering workflows, procedures and processes would be advantageous
- Certificate in IOSH Managing Safely
- Sound Procurement knowledge and previous contract management experience, minimum of 3-5 years.
- Commercial acumen
- Must have a result driven approach to workload.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, and quality standards, such as ISO9001, 14001, 27001, 44001, 45001 and 55001
- Proficient in using various tools and software for data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Expert in Excel, Proficient in Word and can prepare, present and report to a good standard.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Able to work on own and as part of a team.
