Mitie Technical Services are looking for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team based in London, working in inner M25.
What are the key role objectives for the role?
As a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer, you will carry out duties in compliance with Mitie Technical Facilities Management Ltd Policies and Procedures. Driving & promoting Mitie's One Code which is integral to our companies' values and behaviours. Whilst performing tasks in a professional manner to a suitable standard to meet both Client and Mitie expectations, at all times working compliantly within Health and Safety policy / legislation.
A UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points is essential as around 50% of the role will be driving.
What are the main duties for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer ?
- To undertake routine Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks on Telecoms sites.
- To undertake minor reactive maintenance work as necessary.
- To be part of a callout rota with additional remuneration.
- Work includes both “At Height” checks and ground level maintenance of cabin and compound.
What does our ideal candidate look like?
We are looking for the candidate who is Fully qualified 18th Edition IEE regulations. 2383-18 18th Edition Update.
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance or NVQ 3 Electrical installation.
- 2391-52 Test and Inspection desirable
- IPAF – Desirable , PASMA – Desirable
- Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weight of up to 25kg.
- Ability to effectively priorities own workload.
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
