Multi Skilled Engineer - Mechanical Bias (79377)

Job objectives and responsibilities:
·Have a high level of skill within core discipline
·Able to work on own initiative, without direct supervision, as well as part of a team
·Implement planned preventative maintenance programme ensuring efficient use of time and resource
·Carry out Fault repairs to a high standard
·Have a good working understanding of all Mechanical systems on site
·Computer literate with Good communication skills amongst peer group and local Management
Main duties:
·Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance as directed within a small team in a 4 on 4 off shift rota
·Carry out timely and effective fault repair on equipment and systems within core discipline
·Identify faults and implement timely repairs on equipment and systems outside core discipline
·Utilise PDA for receiving ppm and reactive work orders and signing off of work
·Assist other members of local team to ensure all SLA's are met
·Work with other team members to ensure fault levels are minimised
·Be able to Work at Heights including working from a MEWP
·Communicate issues when required to ensure effective resolution
·Follow associated risk management procedures
·Ensure customers premises and equipment are maintained to a first class standard
·To manage any project work when required.
·Take ownership of tasks and manage through to completion.
·Identify areas of improvement and opportunity for revenue.
·Identify energy saving opportunities.
·Manage H&S in everything you undertake.
·Ability to manage sub contractors.
·Able to work with minimal supervison.
·Ability to work under pressure and within timelines.
Person Specification:
·Technically qualified Mechanical Engineer
·Demonstrable experience of AHU's and pressure systems systems
·Demonstrable examples of innovation
·Excellent customer interface skills
·Use of IT tools
·Good quality and process driven person
Health and Safety responsibilities:
·Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
·Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
·Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
·Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
