ROLE: Multi Skilled Engineer / Fabric Engineer
HOURS: 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
LOCATION: Russell Hall Hospital – DGH

We're looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer or Fabric Engineer to deliver excellent service standards, meet SLA agreements, and adhere to planned maintenance schedules within a healthcare environment.
Role Responsibilities (4–5 Points)

Deliver building fabric maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, minor civils, groundworks, paving, and minor tarmac repair works.

Carry out minor reactive repairs and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) in line with agreed schedules and service level agreements.

Complete tasks such as door repairs, ceiling tile repairs and replacements, minor tiling works, gutter clearance, and general fabric upkeep.

Maintain accurate inspection logs, remedial reports, and job updates using digital systems, ensuring clear communication with clients and site teams.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, safe working practices, and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition at all times.
Required Qualifications
applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role

Proven experience in facilities management, building services, or a similar environment.

Trade background or served experience, with a carpentry skill bias; a basic qualification in carpentry is preferred.

Manual handling certification and physical capability to work at heights and within confined spaces.

Good verbal communication skills and basic IT literacy to record tasks, inspections, and updates.
