This role exists to ensure that our clients' buildings and estates are maintained to the highest standards, meeting all safety and compliance requirements. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth operation and safety of these facilities.

Responsibilities:

As a Mobile Electrician at Mitie, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of buildings within the Local Government and Education sectors. Your tasks will include performing planned, reactive, quoted, and minor works on building services assets. You will ensure that buildings remain open, safe, fit, and compliant, while providing timely feedback through both manual and digital platforms. Additionally, you will conduct basic reporting, quoting and condition appraisals, liaising with contractors and external suppliers as needed.

Requirements:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent
• Electrical Maintenance/Installation NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance in building services engineering
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment (HASAW 1974)
• Full, clean driving licence
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
