Job Overview: Lead Shift Engineer

Join a prestigious site as a Lead Shift Engineer, supporting the management team and leading a team of engineers to deliver exceptional service. HVAP Certification required.

Main Duties:

Plan and execute Planned Maintenance for Mechanical & Electrical systems.
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance and service desk requests.
Coordinate and support specialist sub-contractors.
HV & LV authorised, create switching schedules, method statements, and risk assessments.
Lead the Shift Handover process, ensuring all tools, alarms, and records are in order.
Ensure adherence to engineering standards and Health & Safety regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation and site quality assurance procedures.

What We're Looking For:

Positive, self-motivated individual with excellent people skills.
Previous Lead Technician experience.
Strong fault diagnosis, computer literacy, and written skills.
Ability to prioritize workload under pressure.
Valid HV/LV certification, Health & Safety certification (IOSH, NEBOSH, etc.), and F Gas qualification.
Building services engineering qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).
Knowledge of building services, UPS, Diesel Generators, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
Experience with CAFM systems.
Supervisory training (ILM standard preferred).
