Job Overview
The role will provide guidance and support the Mitie IT Change Manager, change initiators, ensuring a standardised approach is fully documented and adhered to when introducing change to Mitie's IT estate.
The IT Change Co-Ordinator is responsible for
- Handling change requests that are assigned to Mitie IT Change Management raised as per agreed change management processes,
- Ensuring that all changes to companies Production environment are fit for purpose,
- The role will challenge the risk based nature of infrastructure planned activity,
The IT Change Co-Ordinator will support and deputise for the Mitie IT Change Manager as required
Main Duties
- Responsible for day to day management of RFCs assigned to ITCM RFC's through their lifecycle
- Prepare list of changes for review at Weekly IS RFC review and attend the meetings to document all actions discussed
- Attend CAB meetings to provide information and status updates on Mitie raised RFCs
- Review the progress of RFCs, documenting all queries any actions to cand/or take opportunities to improve service quality,
- Review all implemented changes to ensure that they have met their objectives; referring back any that have been backed out or have failed
- Responsible for identification of Standard Change candidates
- Manage IT Change Mailbox
- Preparation of Reports
What we are looking for
- Experience of working as a Change Analyst and/or Change Co-Ordinator role is essential,
- Experience in working with an outsourced 3rd Party IT support provider in an operational is desirable,
- Experience in ServiceNow (IT Service Management tool) is desirable,
- Able to make effective decisions and take responsibility quickly,
- Structured and methodical approach,
- Strong administration skills, and be able to demonstrate attention to detail,
- Team player able to work with the minimum of supervision.
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative,
- Able to work with a variety of personalities to champion best practice / high quality change / implementation and rollback documentation,
- Experience of working in a high-pressure environment,
- Diplomatic and able to remain calm under pressure. Confident to push back where necessary,
- Able to follow documented processes,
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to communicate effectively,
- Understand the need for discipline and rigour in reporting
