Grounds Maintenance / Industrial Cleaner - GSK Montrose - Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

Job Overview

Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at the UK's market leading FM company. Reporting to the Technical Service Planner, you will be delivering exceptional grounds maintenance and winter services for our clients' site. Also industrial cleaning inside/outside of production buildings.

Main Duties

• Main duties and responsibilities for this role include grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, clearing leaves, spraying, litter picking, and using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery to ensure all sites and external areas are maintained to a high standard, along with roof and gutter cleans. You will need to deliver additional services during the winter, such as gritting, clearing snow.
• Additionally, you will report to management with relevant information regarding site hazards, operate a range of vehicles, machinery and equipment in accordance with health and safety procedures, and undertake additional training as and when required.

What we are looking for

• To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about working outdoors and be prepared to work across agile and flexible environments.

• Previous grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not necessary, as training will be giving, eg. as is a PAI & PA6 spraying license, IPAF.

• A full driving license is also essential as some roles require use of company vehicles. You will report to the Technical Service Planner.

• Weekend availability if needed due to operational requirements.
