Rate of Pay: £13.16 per hour

Shift pattern: 4on 4off (6am - 6pm)

We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to provide excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. The role holder will be responsible for meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.
In your new role, you will carry out general Low Risk hygiene tasks including but not limited to washing equipment, walls, floor, mopping floors, belt cleaning & using scrubbing/sweeping equipment. You will also paly key role in Tray Wash operations making sure smooth and efficient cleaning of production utensils. In your role you will also be responsible for cleaning of production i-Tubs, waste removal, general GMP duties as well as looking after cleanness of communal areas when required.
We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team to ensure that the highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene are always maintained across all areas of the site. You will also need to liaise closely with Hygiene Supervisor, working with chemicals and ensure containers are labelled and locked at all times. You will be required to operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation as well as working.
Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner is desirable but not compulsory as full training will be provided. You will need to be able to dismantle equipment and machinery, handle and use chemical - subject to passing your COSHH training.
