Handyman/ painter and decorator

Main Duties

Painting and Decorating: Execute painting and decorating tasks to a high standard, ensuring the finished work meets quality standards.
Select appropriate materials, colours, and finishes based on client requirements.

Maintenance Works: Carry our minor maintenance works depending on workload.
Identify and address maintenance issues efficiently and effectively. Carryout preventative maintenance tasks and report findings.

What we are looking for

As part of our growing engineering family, we are looking for a handyman ideally with a painting and decorating background, to provide building fabric maintenance and general repairs.

You will be responsible for delivering a building fabric service such as  painting and decorating, minor plumbing, carpentry and patch repairs. Ideally you will have worked in the building services sector, or similar, with basic building and/or plumbing skills as you will be carrying out fabric repairs. You should be physically fit as the role does involve some manual handling and working at heights.

You will keep the clients updated with any developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc and ensure a high level of customer service and will need good verbal and written communication and comfortable working with IT to record your tasks and updates,

The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities management, a trade scheme or served experience.

Must hold a full and valid UK driving license.
