Mitie Telecoms' are seeking an ambitious Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team in Durham!
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician you will be working across the Durham/Newcastle region to perform the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and fire alarm systems across the Cornerstone Estate. The position is a mobile role with the requirement to travel to client sites therefore, you must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
Main Duties:
- Undertake the installation of Electrical and Fire Alarm Systems
- Undertake the maintenance of Electrical and Fire Alarm Systems
- Identify any risks and report to client
- Work on the improvement and implementation of PPM program
- Liaise with Client on-site teams regarding on building service related issues
- Completion of required documentation as specified
- Attend Site Meetings and Training when required
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines and report accordingly
- Co-operate with other Mitie disciplines for the provision of multi- discipline services where required
What We Are Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2356 Part 1 & 2,
- City & Guilds 2357
- BS 7671 Electrical Regulations 18th Edition or 17th Edition
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Electrical inspection and Testing is desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
