Shift Pattern: This will be a Part time flexi roll, working across Facilities, Laundry, & plant. You will be expected as part of this role to cover a range of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings or nights Annual leave or absences occur, but when no cover required your working day will Monday 7am-12pm
Location: Pladis, Canal Street, South Wigston, Leicestershire, England, LE18 4PQ

THE JOB

Reporting directly to the On-site Manger & Supervisors- with responsibilities to:

To clean designated Facilities Areas E.g. Office's, WC's, Locker rooms, Canteen

To complete laundry tasks, from un-bagging, and placing overalls in designated lockers, to bagging up the dirty garments.

To work across the factory sweeping, mopping, cleaning walls/windows/pillars/skirtings & footings & emptying waste bins.

On nights you will be trained on how to use the floor machines and clean the floors or cleaning Facilities all depending the area that is required to be cleaned.

To use cleaning chemicals Safely.

To remove waste to the appropriate

One-Off cleaning

To work overtime to assist with Team member shortages/Audits/VIP Visits.

To work as part of a team, but to also work unsupervised

In your new role as a Cleaner you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.     

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude
