Job Overview

Hands on delivery of the day-to-day operations of a small fully serviced site, working alongside 2 workplace
concierge to deliver FM scope: planned & reactive maintenance, visitor management, assisting colleagues with
office support, outgoing & incoming mail, ensuring tea points are stocked and managed, locker allocation and
management
· Proactively demonstrate and work to the Company's vision of being ‘The Exceptional, Every Day'
· Build a strong working relationship with both internal and external customers, including sub-contractors to
ensure that all services are delivered in a professional, timely and cost effective manner and seek ways to
continuously improve and exceed expectations
· Lead by example with regards to health and safety, environmental and quality requirements ensuring
compliance with statutory, legislative and contractual requirements and ensuring that all work activities are
conducted in a safe manner
· Drive the development of a professional and effective operational team; lead by example to strive for delivery
of the OGSP
· Compile accurate management information/reporting as required and submit in a timely manner to
appropriate stakeholders
· Attend and actively participate in internal and external meetings and/or training courses as required
· Perform ad hoc duties in line with capabilities to support corporate and client objectives
· Be able to identify, capitalise and deliver on growth opportunities
Main Duties
-
Ensure compliance to technical statutory, mandatory & routine maintenance
· Establish and maintain appropriate subcontract arrangements using MITIE's subcontract documentation and
ensure regular performance reviews are undertaken.
· Liaise with the Account Director on procurement, variations, and contract changes within the allocated
Contract(s) to maximise value for money.
· Ensure compliance of all Health & Safety Legislation and procedures and assist and support audit processes.
· Conduct Team Meetings to agreed frequencies and attend all contractual meetings .
· Produce monthly and ad hoc reports, collating and validating data and documentation. To include but not limited to FM Services
What we are looking for
-
Experience in the FM environment, with a view to development into an FM in the future
· Must have the nature to represent Mitie with professionalism, integrity and honesty at all times
· Must hold a suitable Health and Safety certificate (IOSH Managing Safely or similar)
· The candidate must possess exceptional customer service and communication skills and highly literate and
numerate
· While specific technical qualifications are not essential, the candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven
track record sset management, planned and reactive maintenance
· The candidate must be highly computer literate and experienced in using Microsoft applications
· The candidate must have a strong sense of achievement; able to drive initiatives and projects forward,
expecting good standards of work and able to overcome barriers/ solve problems
· The candidate must be organised, good at time management and prioritisation of work and be reliable,
punctual and responsible
