ROLE: Asbestos Consultant
HOURS: 40 hours per week
LOCATION: Bristol

At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for an Asbestos Consultant who will deliver high‑quality asbestos surveying and analytical services across a wide range of properties.

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties in accordance with HSG264 and company procedures.
• Carry out additional duties including collecting site data, transporting asbestos samples to UKAS‑accredited laboratories approved by the company, and completing asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software.
• Conduct air monitoring and 4‑stage clearance procedures in line with HSG248 and our UKAS‑accredited procedures.
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing specialist advice and technical support when required.
• Liaise with the Asbestos Surveying Quality team, Contracts, Projects Managers and Supervisor as and when required.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• BOHS P402 qualified (or equivalent).
• BOHS P403/P404 qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
• Full UK driving licence.
