Come join us! Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for an Account Director to lead our field-based account management teams at the UKs leading FM company, overseeing key strategic client relationships within our Grounds Maintenance and Winter Services business.

We are seeking experienced, energetic and valued contributors who can ensure that we deliver exceptional results everyday to our clients. You will own the client relationship at a strategic level and be responsible for contract performance, retention, increased revenue, financial management, reporting and increased NPS.

It is essential that you have a proven track record within the landscapes sector, at least five years account management experience operating at senior stakeholder level and can demonstrate proven results of developing specific contract to increase revenue and NPS results.

Agile, flexible working is critical to the continuing success of the Landscapes business, the ability to embed performance excellence through an operating model which supports operational seasonal peaks and out of hours customer support is critical as client demands change throughout the year.

Reporting to the Director of National Accounts you will own your own client portfolio, ensuring we deliver the exceptional every day.

You will be responsible for.

  • Delivering retention of all accounts within your portfolio
  • Delivering growth and profitable operation of your portfolio
  • Driving our biodiversity offering into your client portfolio
  • Managing and developing a professional relationship with your clients (NPS) and your internal colleagues
  • Ensuring all internal and external KPIs and SLAs are met
  • Collaboratively working with our regional KAMs and Operational colleagues to deliver against business objectives
  • Ensuring all DEBT / WIP is within the agreed measures for your portfolio and team
  • To constantly strive to improve efficiency and utilisation of resources.

What we are looking for

  • Experienced within the landscapes industry is essential
  • Knowledge of sustainability, Biodiversity and Social Value is essential
  • Experience within our desired client sectors is essential
  • Five years plus account management experience at senior stakeholder level is essential
