At Mitie what we do is simple. We work to deliver the exceptional, every day, together. Since 1987, our 68,000 colleagues serve companies and communities across the United Kingdom and the world. We have clients in a range of different sectors from retail to hospitals, schools, and critical government sites. Our work makes a positive difference to millions of people, every day, and we are very proud of this.
Facilities Management goes beyond the day-to-day of building management. Our people assisted by our technology, data and science is how we go the extra mile. We call our approach to delivering exceptional facilities management ‘The Science of Service'.
We’re committed to decarbonisation with our Plan Zero agenda. Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion networks are making Mitie a more inclusive place for all. And, our Mitie Foundation breaks down barriers for people in society to work, with our Ready to Work and Giving Back programmes.
As a business, we win several awards and accolades, for the outstanding work we do. But we know that the only way we can be exceptional every day is through each one of our people. And that’s because together, we are Mitie.
“Integrity and trust are at the heart of all we do. Our employees are the face of the company. We treat others as we would like to be treated. Our people are proud to work for Mitie.”
Established in 2013, the Foundation is a registered charity focussed on providing varied life opportunities for disadvantaged groups. We are passionate about breaking down barriers and helping a diverse range of participants who may have been overlooked, but are nonetheless enthusiastic and capable, into sustainable, fulfilling employment.
